About Me

John Howe Racing,

WestPort, CT

I am a young driver based in Connecticut, trying to build a career in racing. Since the summer of 2025, I have competed in multiple karting events with enough success to believe I have the potential to move into cars perhaps as early as 2027, and hopefully on to advanced racing with GT, Indy, Le Mans Prototype (LMP), and even Formula cars in the future.

For now, I am focused on becoming the best kart racer I can be and have set aside 2026 as a further proving year in my journey. Every week, I take lessons and compete in local league races, earning points for wins that enable me to potentially enter the world championships in Europe.

With my racing team, S&J Racing Team, I am entering at least 12 adult semi-pro and pro endurance events in the Endurance Karting 2026 Season, racing throughout the Eastern US.

An important part of building a career in racing is developing a sponsorship base, and I have created several models for sponsors to benefit from. I will be providing periodic updates here and on Instagram. Thank you for following my journey to becoming a professional racer!

S&J Racing Team

In the Fall of 2025, Sasha Tarasov and I formed a racing team to focus on Endurance Karting competitions. Brian Rojas, Christian Rojas, and Jonathan Smith joined the team for our first 6-hour race together at Atlanta Motorsports in November 2025, where we came in 3rd in our Rookie Class. Later, Pawel Jachimek joined the team for the 2026 Season.
